Study of 3D clothing simulations in Marvellous Designer & Cinema 4D.
The animation above is an experiment using cloth simulation in marvellous designer imported into cinema 4D, where red shift renderer materials were applied. I used subsurface scattering, opacity and roughness maps to achieve the transparent, delicate and light weight cloth appearance. The overall atmospherics were kept simple, dark with one point light in order to create the silhouette look.
The base animation and mesh imported into cinema 4d from marvellous designer.
Brittle was displayed in a student run exhibition located on campus at the National College of Art & Design in 2019.
