I come from a game development background, 7 years debugging complex systems in Unreal Engine, Python & C++.
Cybersecurity turned out to be a natural fit. The mindset carries over more than you'd expect.
Since then I've picked up my CompTIA Network+ and Google Cybersecurity cert, built a homelab, and started working on real projects.
